The Indie Can Film Festival mission is to offer the independent filmmaker the opportunity to screen his/her film to an audience of friends, family, peers and the general public. The Indie Can Film Festival will present work by filmmakers engaged in fields of all genre, often with the filmmakers in attendance to present their work.  All completed short and features films of all genres and styles will be accepted and screened (some exceptions apply).

That's right - YOUR FILM WILL BE SCREENED, GUARANTEED.

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

The Indie Can Film Festival was established by two filmmakers who understand how much time, money, and labour of love is put into completing a film and how difficult and expensive it can get entering your film into festivals and never be selected. Without festival exposure, most films never get any chance of being seen. We want to change that by opening the window on the vast and rewarding, but often overlooked, world of independent no-, small-or low-budget commercial cinema – those films made by committed filmmakers working outside of mainstream channels of production and distribution. Every completed film deserves to be viewed by an audience and appreciated for its own merits.

There is NO judging or selection process with the Indie Can Film Festival. Every film submitted will be screened. All that is required is a screening fee. Your fee is a SCREENING FEE, not a submission or entry fee. We also offer promotional services to make sure that your film gets the exposure it deserves.

With the Indie Can Film Festival there is another added perk - All screenings are FREE, non-ticketed events.

Please note that films deemed pornographic will not be accepted. The Indie Can Film Festival reserves the right to not screen any film for any reason it deems valid.

GENERAL RULES

Screening times are limited and on a first-come-first served basis.

Once all screening time slots are full, we will no longer accept new entries.

Films must be an Independent no-, small- or low-budget production.

Accepting feature films from 51 minutes to 120 minutes, mid-length films from 16 minutes to 50 minutes and shorts from 1 minute to 15 minutes of any genre (with the exception of films deemed pornographic).

The Indie Can Film Festival reserves the right to not screen any film for any reason it deems valid.

You agree that you have obtained all required permissions regarding music, sound and/or images presented in your film.

You agree that the Indie Can Film Festival will not be held liable for any copyright infringements perpetrated by you or your film.

Screening fees are non refundable. The screening fee covers the cost to screen your film.

SCREENING FEE 

Your only investment is a minimal screening fee payable in U.S. Funds:

Short Films:  $35.00 US (from 1 minute to 15 minutes)

Mid-Length Films:  $65.00 US (from 16minutes to 50 minutes)

Feature Films:  $135.00 US (from 51 minutes to 120 minutes)

Music Videos:  $25.00 US
